Dr Brown is a Partner Physician with Queensland Respiratory Services. He graduated from the University of Queensland in 1974 and became a member of the Royal College of Physicians London in 1978 and Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 1983. He has special interests in asthma, cystic fibrosis, occupational lung disease, bronchoscopy and sleep medicine and he has been involved in numerous research publications. He has worked in the UK and Canada and more recently has been a lecturer for the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. From 1987-2011, Dr Brown was a Senior Visiting Thoracic Physician in the Division of Medicine at the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital.
